Dr. Matin Sharafatkhah is a highly experienced endocrinology specialist with a passion for providing comprehensive care to patients. With over 34 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Sharafatkhah has developed expertise in various areas, including Osteoporosis & Screening, Thyroid Disorders, and Diabetes & Glucose Monitoring.

Dr. Sharafatkhah completed his MD degree at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University in 1988. He furthered his medical training with an Internship and residency at LIJMC (Long Island Jewish Medical Center) in New Hyde Park, NY. Throughout his extensive career, he has treated a wide range of conditions, including Disorders of Lipid Metabolism, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy, Thyroid Cancer, Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Hypothyroidism, Non-Toxic Goiter, and Hyperthyroidism.

As a Diplomate of the Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Dr. Sharafatkhah demonstrates his commitment to staying at the forefront of his field and providing the highest standard of care to his patients. He is affiliated with Staten Island University Hospital and warmly welcomes new patients to his practice.
